Using a webapp, Christians across Wycombe showed which streets they had prayed for April to June 2022.<\/figcaption>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

  • At least 58 individuals, from at least 22 different churches, walked and prayed over the roads marked above in the 6 weeks prior to the celebration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 3 central gatherings for prayer were held in the same period, lifting up the churches and ministries across Wycombe, as well as the social action efforts and celebration..<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Social Action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • More than 12 churches ran or facilitated a way to show God\u2019s love practically and generously to our town.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • No count of how many people were connected with and served, but based on the number and type of events, a conservative estimate would be 200+ individuals directly, and numbers more indirectly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Celebration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      • Sunday 12 June at 11am, we gathered on the High Street for the first time. The Market Square area provided a central and visible location, and the existing bunting and flowers provided by High Wycombe BIDco added to the festive feel of worshipping together with one voice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 80 people (at least) were involved in making LW22 happen, at one level or another…\n

        • 25 churches were represented by these 80 people,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • We think about 1000 \u2013 1500 people were present but no accurate way of counting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          • We’ve ended up with just over the same amount in the Love Wycombe bank account as we started with, remaining from previous years.\n

            • 21 churches contributed and sponsorship received from High Wycombe BIDco.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              • Roughly \u00a3900 collected by Growing Hope in donations direct from people, as well as contact made with potential volunteers and families who need their support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
